Welcome to Iran! After your arrival at IKA airport, our driver will transfer you to the hotel. Take a rest and get ready for tomorrow. O/N in Tehran
- Day2
Leaving Tehran behind, make your way to Shahroud by car. Directly go to visit Tarikhane mosque, the second oldest mosque of Iran and one of the masterpieces of 8th-century architecture. Watch the road drift past and listen to some interesting tips about the area from your guide. Go straight to visit Tomb of Abu Al-Hassan Kharaqani, the Iranian poet and philosopher. O/N in Shahroud

Leaving Shahrud to get Mashhad, en route, we will have a stop at two other historical cities of Sabzevar and Neyshabour. In Sabzevar we’ll head out to the Haji Molla Hady Sabzevari Tomb, and then in Neyshabour, the Mausoleum of Omar Khayyám and Attar, two philosophers and poets of Iran. And then wander through the green garden of Kamal-ol-molk and visit his tomb and then go to Wooden Mosque of Neyshabour. Arriving in Mashhad in the evening, you will head out to the hotel and enjoy your welcome dinner. O/N in Mashhad

Mashhad is the top religious tourism destination in Iran. There are many must-see spots in this city. Early in the morning, drive to Tous, a small village near Mashhad, home of the greatest Iranian epic poet Ferdowsi, and visit his tomb and hear the stories of Persian mythologies in Shahname. Drive back to Mashhad and visit Holy Shrine of Imam Reza, a complex of Persian art and architecture. O/N in Mashhad

Departing Mashhad, take a Flight to the heaven of stars - Kerman! Let’s wander through the historic UNESCO world heritage site, Shazdeh Garden. Keep an eye out for the incredible architecture of Shah Nematolah Vali Mausoleum. Think about what you wish to explore more on Lut Desert. Past the green oasis and take a joyful walk in the palm gardens. Stop at the marvelous desert of shahdad and take all the desert photo of the sunset and all the surrounding natural phenomena. Leave Kerman and drive to Shiraz. on the way, you will have a stop in Maymand, UNESCO world heritage site, an exotic village which includes the rocky dwellings inhabited by local people as home. Moving on to the 2500 years old Achaemenian capital, Pasargadae. Located in a green plain, dominated by mountains and the plains covered by wild tulips. As a royal center, the complex has a verity of memorials, such as palaces, gardens and the magnificent tomb of Cyrus, the Great. Head to Shiraz, the city of orange blossoms. O/N in Shiraz

Shiraz is the city of Love and Wines, one of the most admired destinations in the world. The city is well known for its delightful scenic landscapes, delicious foods, kind people and rich culture. Our tour guide will introduce you to the city and its many historic sites, including Narenjestan, Eram Garden, Nasirol Molk Mosque, Tomb of Saadi and Hafez (the great poets of Persian literature) and Zand complex (Vakil mosque, Vakil Bazaar, and Karimkhan castle). During the tour enjoy eating and buying local products of Shiraz. O/N in Shiraz

At first, visit the holy shrine of Shah Cheragh, then enjoy a full day to further exploration of the history of Pars. The Persepolis complex stands as a magnificent memorial of Great Achaemenian Kings. Its massive structures adorned with stone reliefs seem to give it a great historical purpose. Move on to see the Naghsh-e Rostam Necropolis, its great stone reliefs and Achaemenid king’s tombs. Wish you enjoy visiting this iconic landmarks and Iranian heritage of UNESCO. Yazd is a beautiful city, with Islamic and Zoroastrian architecture. This historical city buzzes with activity, customs, passion, and energy of its own, rewarding those who explore it with hospitality and kindness. Our guide will take you on a walking tour and introduce you to the must-see sights including the Old town, Jameh Mosque, Dowlatabad Garden, Amir Chaqmaq complex, Zoroastrian Towers of Silence and Fire Temple. This morning we’ll depart Yazd and head north to our first stop in the Kharanagh, a historical village with especial architecture. We’ll then continue our journey on to Ardakan, where you’ll see the Chak Chak, main Holy Temple of Zoroastrian, features an exotic architecture and a very interesting story. Our final destination of the day is Garmeh, which is called by Iranians ‘’the real oasis’’. There, your tour leader will take you on an orientation tour of the oasis and give you some free time to explore the desert, take a walk through the palm gardens, before we meet back up for dinner and spend a night in a high-rank guest house. This morning we head into the heart of Iran, Isfahan (The blue pearl of Persia), home of magnificent architecture, long bridges and gentle Zayandeh Rud. on the way, we have a stop in Naein to visit one of the oldest mosques of Iran. Then, continue our way to Isfahan. There, we’ll explore the highlights of Isfahan: 400 years old Naghsh-e Jahan square, take an orientation walking tour of the city with your tour leader to see all the iconic sights, including Imam Mosque, Aali Qapu, Qeysariyeh Bazaar and Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque. During the tour, step into the world of Persian crafting as you visit the local factories and shops and learn more about Isfahan products. O/N in Isfahan

There is more of Isfahan to see - we’re off to the Chehel Sotun, the World Heritage site of UNESCO and one of the best example of Persian gardens. Continue the journey with our tour guide. He/ She will introduce you to the historic bridges in Isfahan, including Thirty-three bridge (Si-o Se Pol) and Khajou. Let’s see the Armenian district of Isfahan to visit the Christianity ensemble of the city like Vank Cathedral, a classic sight in Isfahan, well worth to spend time. Later this evening we'll enjoy an included dinner. O/N in Isfahan

Leaving the Capital of Iran tourism behind, today we head to Kashan. Before getting to Kashan we have a stop in Abyaneh, the historical village of Iran, a very well-known spot for its exotic red architecture. On arrival, we’ll take an orientation walking tour in the village. Our guide will show us the important sights of the village. And then go straight to Kashan. You’ll also have the chance to have an almost complete exploration here. Visiting Broujerdis House, Jame mosque, Bazaar and Fin Garden will give you a completely different perspective and appreciation for the spectacular structure of this unique destination. O/N in Kashan

Today we’re off to Lorestan province and the beautiful Khorramabad. The city is well known for its green lands, gardens and the massive structure of Falak-ol-Aflak Castle. We’ll stop off at the stunning Keeyow- Lake. You’ll have some time to explore, with the option of taking a boat ride on the lake. We’ll have some time to stroll around and enjoy the scenery and then the structure of Gerdab-e Sangi. O/N in Khoram Abad

Leaving Khorramabad and driving to Kermanshah, the city boasts ancient landmarks, religious buildings and beautiful parks and lake. You’ve got a full free day to explore. First, we will visit Jameh Mosque of Shafei, and then Tekyeh Moaven al-Molk where you will be rewarded with fabulous views of the Persian Tile-working. Head off to the Taq-e Bostan, it’s no wonder why the Sassanian powerful kings chose this place. There are charm and grace around every corner, but it's not all about history but art and the Sasanian Persian theology. O/N in Kermanshah

This morning we’ll depart Kermanshah and head north to our first stop in Sanandaj, Kurdistan where we’ll enjoy learning more about one of the most important ethnic groups, Iranian-Kurds. You’ll have some time to explore the Abidar natural park, and then two mansions with beautiful Persian Architecture, Khosro Abab Mansion and Asef Vaziri Monument (House of Kurds). Kurds of Iran have a rich culture and a collection of interesting customs, visiting Sanandaj is a good opportunity to know more about them. O/N in Sanandaj

Drive to Palangan village, the historical stair-stepped village with unique architecture and sustainable culture. By stopping in the village, we'll have some time to stroll around and enjoy the scenery. We’ll then return to Sanandaj to have another more time in the city. O/N in Sanandaj

Leaving the mountains behind, today we head to Hamadan, the oldest city in Iran. On arrival, you’ll have an orientation walking tour with our tour guide, who will show you the sights of the city, including natural/ historical area of Ganjnameh, Tomb of Avicenna Mausoleum, Baba Taher and Esther and Mordkhai Shrine, which gives you a completely different perspective and appreciation for the Jewish community of Iran. Hamadan is a unique destination for its amazing climate, scenic views and massive structures. O/N in Hamadan

Drive to Zanjan, in Zanjan we will visit Dome of Soltanie and then Leaving Hamadan to Zanjan, enjoy a full day exploring this historical destination. Zanjan was once the center of Ilkhanid dynasty, by the time of Soltan Mohammad, the spectacular mausoleum of Soltaniye had been built. This structure is registered on the UNESCO heritage list. Then you will have a walking tour in the Museum of Anthropology, Rakhshooy Khaneh Edifice. Don’t miss the chance to meet the Saltmen in the museum of Zanjan. The mummies of six men were discovered in the Chehrabad Salt mines in 2010, most of them accidentally got killed by the collapse of tunnels walls while they were working. O/N Zanjan

Departing zanjan, you will cross the high mountains and travel to 'the city of glory and peace’’ – Tabriz. Your experienced guide will introduce you to all the key sites on a delightful tour of the city. Keep an eye out for such iconic landmarks as Tomb of Shahryar, the Iranian poet and then Azerbaijan and Constitution Revolution Museums. This evening we'll enjoy dinner at an Iranian-Azeri restaurant. We'll then travel back to the hotel to take a rest or have a little freer time to stroll. O/N Tabriz

Start your tour by visiting the Blue Mosque of Tabriz, the magnificent art of its tile working will stun you. There is more of Iranian northwest to see - we’re off to the Kandovan village, known as the volcanic village of Iran. The unique architecture of the village features a collection of rocky dwellings used by the people as their home. Spend some free time to explore before returning to Tabriz where you’ll spend the night. O/N Tabriz

This morning, we’ll say our goodbyes to Tabriz and continue our way to Jolfa. Where you will notice the great landscape of the Aras River as you approach the city. Let’s enjoy visiting Saint Stepanos Monastery, Chapel of Chupan and Khaje Nazar Caravanserai. All of them are the masterpieces of Persian architecture. After seeing the sights, you'll have some free time to hit the natural beauties on the ways. O/N Jolfa

This morning we head into Ardabil, home of Safavids and an important group of Sufis. As we make our way to Ardabil we'll stop in Meshkin Shahr, where you'll enjoy visiting its Suspension bridge. In Ardabil, you will have enough time to visit the city. It has been known for its incredible monuments, rich culture and, of course, fantastic food. Don’t forget to taste the delicious foods of Ardabil. O/N in Ardabil

Today, your tour guide will take you on a short orientation tour of the UNESCO world heritage site, Sheikh Safi al-din Khānegāh and Shrine Ensemble in Ardabil. Built from 16th century to 18th century, including a library, a mosque, a school, mausoleum, cistern, hospital, kitchens, bakery, and some offices. We’ll then cross into Sabalan Mountain and stop off at the stunning plain of berries. You’ll have some time to explore, with the option to take a short stroll. O/N Ardabil

Early in the morning, we set off northwards to see the highlands of Alborz, dense forests, green pastures, and the clean shores of the Caspian Sea. Enjoy the picturesque landscapes as you’re driving along the Caspian Sea. Our destination is Rasht, the city of rain with wonderful features. You’ll have some time to explore the Shahrdari Sq. and all the monuments and attractions there. There are many local shops in the area, its, definitely interesting to visit them too. O/N in Rasht.

There is another interesting spot in Rasht to visit, we head off to the Rural Heritage Museum of Guilan. A variety of rural houses, agricultural products, handicrafts and costumes of Guilaki people of Iran are displayed in this museum. Next, we will go to have a little adventure by visiting Rudkhan Castle. We head for Masuleh, the stair-step village of Iran, with unique architecture. Enjoy a walking tour of the village, and then use your free time this evening to explore one of the most famous icons of Iran.

Departing Masuleh, you will cross Alborz mountains towards Zagros to get to see the second historical capital of Safavid, Qazvin. Your experienced tour leader will introduce you to all the historic attractions of the city. You have enough time to visit the old Bazaar and then head off to Aliqapu, a Safavid structure with incredible architecture and then have a delightful exploration in Chehel Sotun garden of Qazvin, one of the nine Persian Garden inscribed in UNESCO world heritage list. We'll then drive to the hotel in Qazvin. O/N in Qazvin

This morning we’ll depart Qazvin and head to Tehran. As the capital of Iran, this city boasts historical monuments, tourism landmarks, shopping centers, and religious buildings. You’ve got two full days to explore it. At first, you’ll have the opportunity to visit the northern districts of Tehran. Milad Tower, the sixth tallest tower of the world, then Tajrish Sq. Our tour leader will take you through the Sa’dAbad palace, a complex of Pahlavi monuments and museums and Niavaran palace, one of the best spots to be familiar with Iran during the 50th and 60th. There is more of Tehran to see - we’re off to Azadi Tower, the Symbol of modern Iran. Then we have a nice stroll in Grand Bazaar of Tehran. Our local Roman tour guide will introduce you to the shops and Iranian products. Next, we will have a complete tour in UNESCO’s site, Golestan Palace, and its many historic structures and then we head to the National Museum of Iran, a summary of Iran history will be presented by your guide based on all the cultural data and artifices in this great museum.
