Yazd is the capital of Yazd province. This desert city located in central Iran so the weather of it is warm and dry. Without exaggeration, Yazd is the best example of adaptation to the surrounding area. The city is largely known as the city of wind catchers and is recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2017. The majority of the people in this city are Persians; they speak Persian language with Yazdi accent. Yazd is also one of the important Zoroastrian centres. The city is completely covered by the tourist attractions but the spectacular sites including Jameh mosque of Yazd, Amir chakhmaq complex, traditional mansions and traditional workshops are located in the centre part of the city.
