Mashhad
Mashhad is the capital of Khorasan-e Razavi province. The first Islamic tourism destination in Iran. The city is named after the shrine of Imam Reza, the eighth Shia Imam. The city is popular for its historical and religious attractions but the Khorasan province has one of the most pleasant weather in Iran so the travellers expect an exotic nature there. The city is the most developed touristic city in Iran because millions of pilgrims annually visit it.
