Ardabil
Ardabil is the capital of Ardabil Province in the northwest of Iran. The majority of the people in Ardabil are Iranian Azeri who speak Azerbaijani. The city was one of the important territories of Achaemenids near Caucasus. The city was important during the Islamic era too. It was the first power centre of Safavids. the city is popular for its high-quality Carpets; other productions like Silk, foods and pastries. The World Heritage Site, Shaikh Safî ad-Dîn complex including, Shrine, sanctuary and tomb is the other reason made the city worth to travel. Due to its location, Ardabil is cold during the cold seasons of the year in contrast it is very delicious in other time of the year.
